This page covers formation.club, our marketing site and early-access waitlist. The Formation application (used by clubs, coaches, and families) is governed by a separate agreement provided when your club is onboarded.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we store:
- The email address you enter.
- The date and time you submitted, and asource label noting which form you used (so we know how you found us).
- Your browser's user-agent string, used to help us investigate spam and abuse.
The waitlist works whether you accept or reject optional analytics.
Optional Google Analytics
When analytics is enabled on our production website, we ask before loading Google Analytics 4. If you accept, Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits, traffic sources, pages viewed, and successful new waitlist signups. We keep advertising features disabled.
We do not send the email address you enter, resource worksheet contents, or athlete information to Google Analytics. Page URLs sent by our integration exclude query strings and fragments; approved campaign labels and the referring website's origin may be included to understand traffic sources.
You can reject analytics and still use the site and join the waitlist. Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to change your choice. We store your preference in your browser. Rejecting analytics stops our tracking and removes the first-party Google Analytics cookies we can access. Google processes analytics information according to its own privacy practices.
Printable resources
Practice-plan fields and checklist selections stay in the current page. They are not submitted to Formation or saved by these resources. Reloading clears your entries. Avoid entering private athlete information into these worksheets.
Why we collect it
We use your email for one purpose: to contact you about early access to Formation. We'll email you when we can bring your club in, and occasionally with related launch updates. We don't sell or rent your information.
Where it's stored
Waitlist entries are stored in Microsoft Azure (Table Storage) within our own cloud tenant. Our site and this data are hosted on Microsoft Azure. We don't share the list with third parties beyond the infrastructure needed to run the service.
Your choices
You can ask us to remove your email from the waitlist at any time, or request a copy of what we hold, by emailinghello@formation.club. We'll take care of it.
Children
This marketing site is intended for adult coaches, club administrators, and parents or guardians. It is not directed at children. This marketing waitlist does not collect athlete information.
